We praise and bless you loving Creator and source of all goodness, for you have willed that all be given full-ness of life through your Son Jesus Christ.

The seeds of your Gospel planted here in New Mexico by the sons of Saint Francis four hundred years ago have yielded a rich harvest of faith. We are grateful to you for the countless priests, religious, and the holy lay people who have given their lives, talents and treasures to build your Kingdom here in this, the Land of Enchantment.

We pray that you, Almighty God, will graciously grant success to our ongoing mission to spread the Gospel, making disciples of all nations. May we fulfill this mission by being your hands in offering comfort to those who suffer, your voice in speaking hope to a world in need, and your eyes in looking with love on all your children. May we set aside our many differences so that united as your children, we may constantly love one another, as Christ your Son loved us, even to death on the Cross.
